RYAN GREEN

Dear Friends,
Happy summer!
It has been over 3 months since our last update but
rest assured that we think about our miracle group
often. In short no news is wonderful news!
Mr. Ryan:
We are so pleased to just write an update about our
normal little boy. There are no treatments to report,
tubes to deal with, or medical situations. We are so
blessed.
Ryan has kept Mom and Dad incredibly busy over the
past few months.
Condo living came to an end on May 18th. One morning
Ryan made it abundantly clear that he was done with
his accommodations at 208 South Maple Avenue, Unit 21.
He heard the shower turn on, crawled from the family
room, down the hallway, pushed open the bedroom door,
pulled open the bathroom door, stood at the bathtub,
pulled open the shower curtain and then smiled at Mom.
He knew too much and it was clear.....we needed to
move.
Mom and Dad have determined that Ryan is the most
beautiful child we know. (grin). He is growing, strong
and very healthy. We really can't get enough of him!
The days and nights of medical attention seem so real
and yet seem so foreign.
Ryan is so normal to us. We watch in amazement as he
grasps a green bean with his fingers or giggles at the
bark of a dog. Last summer we spent almost everyday
behind the wrong side of a window. This summer we are
ferocious about spending as much time outdoors this
summer. We love the freedom.
Happy Birthday: (April 30, 2005)
Ryan turned 1 on April 30th. Everyone was invited to
his birthday party. It was a celebration to remember
as well wishers, selfless supporters, and loved ones
gathered to enjoy some great times. Ryan was 1 year
old and a happy, healthy boy........ period!
The Updates:
We are so proud to report great news to you……. our
Ryangreenupdate family. We are humbled by your
incredibly generous acts of love and support. Thank
you! You may never have an idea of how encouraging
your thoughts, actions, words, prayers and love have
been but warm your hearts knowing they made a
difference. We've included a recent couple of photos
of Ryan for you to enjoy. Our plan is to provide you
with a semi-annual update of Ryan. Of course if you
want to check in please call us at home 708-524-8749
or email at ryangreenuppdate@yahoo.com. We would love
to hear from you.
In closing:
On July 12 Kim and I will celebrate our two year
wedding anniversary. Last year on July the 12th we
brought our 11 week old son in for routine testing.
The results were less than routine and so was the
miracle that followed.
We are so mindful of our blessing(s) everyday. Your
support has been so important to us.
Kim and I don't take our miracle lightly. Cancer is so
unfair and cruel. We are very thankful and pray for
many people now. We have been praying often for
Ryan's buddy Keegan Morrison. Recently Keegan had to
conquer his cancer in heaven. We ask for your prayers,
and positive energy for the Morrison family. They are
one of strongest and most loving families we know.
Blessings,
The Greens
