ATTENTION FOOTBALL FANS!
Friends For Steven has formed a fundraising partnership with the Chicago Rush, Chicago's entry in the smashmouth world of Arena Football. The Rush, which plays its home games at the Allstate Arena, won its division last year before losing in the playoff semi finals. They are poised to go all the way in 2003. The 2003 season will be the first for the 17-year-old Arena Football League on NBC. The network will broadcast 71 games next season, including all playoff games and ArenaBowl XVII on June 22.
There is nothing like seeing an Arena Football game in person. This season, if you order tickets through Friends For Steven, the Chicago Rush will graciously donate 50% of the revenue to Friends For Steven. That's right! Purchase a $24 or $16 ticket, and $12 or $8 respectively goes toward Pediatric Cancer research.
On Sunday, May 18th it will be Friends For Steven day, with scoreboard and PA recognition during the game and on field presentation of the game ball. Game time 2 PM.
Please contact Ray Asher at 312-322-0001 for more information. Please check back for more details as the season approaches.
GO RUSH!
